All Saints’ Episcopal School is proud to say that we have eleven students in our 4th-8th Grade who have qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program!!
Duke TIP identifies students across the United States who have scored at or above the 95th percentile on an accepted grade-level national standardized achievement test.
The Duke TIP program offers a variety of academically and socially enriching opportunities.
For example, 7th Graders can take the ACT for the 7th Grade Talent Search, and if they score high enough can advance in the competition to receive state, regional and national recognition.. Also, offered are writing contests, on-line programs, and special camps.
This accomplishment helps to reflect the high priority given to academic achievement at All Saints’!
Congratulations to the following students who have achieved this high honor:

We are so proud of Maddie! Maddie competed in the Scripps Spelling Bee at UT this past weekend. She represented ASES well. She was the winner of our school spelling bee and got to compete at regionals. 210 local winners went to regionals. The first hurdle was a written spelling test. 62 students scored high enough on the test to make it to the stage for further competition. Our Maddie was one of those! She made it past 2 rounds. Not bad for a 3rd grader competing against much older students! She even beat a cross town rival several grades older! We are proud of Maddie and can’t wait until next year!
