Eagle Camp General Information

All enrichment camps are 9 am to 12 pm unless otherwise noted in the camp description

My name is Roxanne Shepard, and I am with the Morristown School of Dance and I have been teaching dance for over 25 years. The studio was established in 1973, and we are located in the Rose Center. We offer a variety of classes for ages 3 and up. We also have a competition team that has won several high-achieving awards at competition.  Our classes are fun and inviting for all dancers, from the beginner to the advanced, as well as those who dance for fun and those who are more competitive.

Three of my advanced and competition students will be helping with the camp who have many years of dance and competition experience. Maddie Black, Emma Lloyd and Kelly Romines have taken dance with me since they were preschoolers.

During camp, we will give participants an idea of what it is like to take a dance class. We will do a warm-up, some techniques and across the floor movement. We will also work on a dance routine for each style of dance.

Robin Carpenter, Camp Counselor: Someone famous once said "find something you love to do and share it."  I find this love in baking and creating beautiful edible treats! The 30+ years spent in the kitchen baking and sharing cakes, cookies, cupcakes and other goodies culminated into my small business "Lavender Sweets."  I offer cupcakes, cakes, and most especially decorated cookies for all occasions. I look forward to sharing some skills, fun and passion with your future baker.

During the class we will decorate a variety of July 4th themed cookies for the campers to share with their families. Your cookie camper will be introduced to decorating with royal icing and adding pizazz with different types of sprinkles.  We will also touch on the importance of packaging with ribbons and tags.

Cheerleading is a dynamic and challenging sport that requires strength, coordination, and teamwork! Attending All Saints Eagle cheer camp is an excellent way to develop and enhance your skills in this exciting sport. Tumbling is an important part of cheerleading as it adds variety and complexity to routines. It involves a series of acrobatic moves, such as flips, twists, and rolls, that require a great deal of strength, flexibility, and coordination. At cheer camp, your child will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tumbling, cheerleading, and teamwork!

Jill Harless has been a part of the lower school teaching staff for the past six years, and has been an educator for the past 22 years. She’s also excited to continue as cheer coach for the ASES Eagles. A former gymnast herself for 14 years, Mrs. Harless has also coached gymnastics/tumbling to a variety of age groups and levels.
